Smart home integration Discuss your home

From your first idea to a working home.

A clear process makes it easier to understand what you are buying, how your home will work and who is responsible for each part.

1. Discuss your home.

Share your postcode, property type and what you would like to automate. We check project fit and availability. Where a paid assessment is needed, its scope and price are agreed first.

2. Design the setup.

We assess your devices, network and installation requirements. The proposal identifies the agreed controls, routines, hardware, dependencies and costs. Existing equipment is checked for compatibility.

3. Install and configure.

We coordinate the agreed installation, configure the home hub and check scenes and routines. Electrical work is performed by an appropriately licensed electrician. Scope and responsibilities are documented.

4. Hand it over.

You receive a walkthrough, administrator access, a device list, network information and a system backup. We explain everyday operation, maintenance and any internet-dependent features.

What runs locally?

Home Assistant runs on a hub in your home. Agreed local routines can operate without internet, provided the hub, devices and required local network remain powered and working. Remote access, cloud integrations and voice assistants may still depend on internet services.

Aftercare is a separate decision.

Professional maintenance is optional and priced separately for Start and Comfort. Your proposal identifies any paid services and their dependencies. You retain ownership and can choose your future support provider.
